it might be a different game but all football players develope a killer attitude after a while that would make us amazing at rugby. i personally juss dont like rugby because im into football. and yes im a varsity player (17 &6'1) linebacker and safety.

Uh you sound like a person who has never watched international rugby before. an idiot. Plus you can't punt for points in rugby. Too bad American football players wouldn't be able to play 80 minutes w/o forty second breaks inbetween each play. football players are amazing athletes, but you cant say they would be the best at rugby, completelt different styles

look, not calling you stupid, just sayin. people who say stuff like this probably have never played football at a decently high level (at least varsity high school). when youre playing football you get so into the game you dont notice people getting hurt. you make a huge hit (which this video is not one, the guy almost missed and hit the dude in the side of the head) you celebrate. thats what the game is about. if you dont have that intensity then you shouldnt play.

i bet you that guy can't tackle. this tackle is nothing, the only reason he got knocked out is cuz its helmet to helmet. im 13 5'4 and im a runningback / linebacker. i betchu if im on offense and i get hit helmet to helmet i get knocked out. and if im on defense and tackle someone hlemet to helmet, i bet they get knocked the fuck out too

rugby is football for fat slow guys. it takes no skill just your weight. and a hard head. gaurentee american football players could play rugby better than the rest of the worlds rugby teams. we'll out run you, out juke you, and we'll bring in the 6'8 380 pound lineman we use to steamroll your short squatty rugby players. we have kickers that are good enough to punt that ball thru the goal from 100 meters out. if america played rugby...it would be world domination!!!!!

we get the point this is a cheap hit, and it was unessissary. but if any of you played football you would know that pretty much anything goes during game time, if you cant handle it dont play the sport. every football player, before going into a game, knows that it might be his last, thats where you decide weather its worth it or not

y does everyone try to compair rugby to football? theyre 2 completely diff sports. you dont hit people with ur head in rugby. infact you bearly have upper body contact at all. the only reason there is so much equipment is because the helmets are so hard. and the reason there are helmets is so you dont crack ur head open. and on top of that the shoulder pads only cover ur shoulders so if u get hit in ur chest or stomach, if anything it hurts more than rugby because the person hitting you has pads
